Leadership concept as it applies to me.....

There are various examples of people being a good leader and good manager..Which role you want to play??? Decide whether you want to be a leader or a manager. Confused ???
Wanna know the difference between the two.

Follow the video..

" First, be a leader of yourself. Observe the self and the actions of the ego. How you lead yourself, is a sure indicator of how you will lead others. All true leaders have humility and a compassion for those they are leading. Just as football great Jim Brown saw himself running over people on a football field the night before a big game, we can play through the mind the steps we will take, and the mannerisms we will use before we actually lead. Visual imagery is key to leadership. Great leaders are confident but never arrogant, strong but not overbearing. What this world needs now is a few good leaders. You  need to stand up and be counted; in your family, in your circle of friends, in the community and finally in the world. The planet is ready for great leaders! Are you? "

The leadership concept that attracted me the most lies in the lines -

".... a lot of established managements believe that happy people do not work that well as they do not have fire in the belly. Are we missing a great tool called 'happiness' to enhance performance ? So if we create a culture that fosters happiness in our employees , then we could have a sustainable competitive advantage...
This would be a prelude a creating a world class company..  It logically follows then that the attempt  of senior management must  be to change the whole concept of 'bosses'... all of us have to change our own behavior towards our subordinates and then motivate them to change things down the line, creating positivity and happiness throughout the organization. "
